That night I was awake,
My thoughts were becoming vague,
I began to wonder,
I began to ponder
Over the freedom I got,
And there are millions who do not,
Get this opportunity,
Or even a true dignity,
With which they could express their mind,
Which is terribly subjected to grind,
By the people around,
And so-called ‘Society’ profound,
One can call it a miss,
But the truth is:
The opportunity never goes,
Only such questions arose,
‘ How they even DARE?’
To break-free the SNARE,
‘How could they REVEAL?’
When they were asked to SEAL
‘How could they OFFEND?’
When they were asked to PRETEND
And all they were expected to do is :
“Enact on the norms and go about by the tradition,
Lay aside their reverence and great erudition”
